As a fourth-grader, Landen Livingston got his first taste of what life is like on the offensive line, and he fell in love with it. “Ever since then, I’ve dedicated myself to being a lineman and it is one of the best decisions I’ve made,” the Leo High School standout told Sideline Prep Sports Report. At 6-foot-4-inches and 280 pounds, Livingston is one of the top linemen in the state despite only being a junior. Livingston told Sideline Prep Sports Report that he has been working hard to get to the point he is at and the hard work has been paying off. “I worked hard and had a goal of playing college football, but I would have never thought these schools would come out. I have a lot of respect for my coaches and teammates who have gotten me to this point. Without them, I would not be at this point right now. As well as TractionAP, as they have worked me hard and helped me get to this point,” he said. Last fall, the Leo Lions finished 10-2. Livingston said the team has a primary goal of playing in November this season. “Every game in November is a big deal and every game is for something. Another goal would be to be a family. In order to be a good football team you need to have good chemistry around the team. One of my goals this year is to be the best leader I can be, as well as a great teammate. Leo graduated a great senior class with many leaders in it. This means there are leadership positions to be filled,” Livingston said. For his efforts, Livingston has received offers from Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, Cincinnati and Arizona State. He tells Sideline Prep Sports Report there are more schools that have reached out to him. “In a school I am looking for great chemistry around the team, a well-run football program and a great education,” he said.
