It wasn’t that long ago that Demon Moore was terrorizing opposing quarterbacks as a defensive lineman.

Today, however, he’s on the other side of the trenches, protecting his quarterback and becoming one of the top offensive linemen in Indiana.

“The transition wasn’t that tough. It got me a lot better with my hands, and my team needed an offensive lineman, so I had to step up,” Moore said.

But, he’s not settling.

“To be one of the state’s best is an honor to be called, but I am working to be the best in the country,” the Fort Wayne Snider junior told Sideline Prep Sports Report.

A season ago, Snider finished with a 7-3 mark, something Moore is hopeful to change this fall.

“My team goal is to win state, but my individual goals are to get stronger and work on my technique,” Moore said.

Moore currently has 10 offers, many coming from national powers. Schools that have already offered are: Arizona State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. Wisconsin and Notre Dame have also expressed interest.

While he told Sideline Prep Sports Report his favorites currently are Ohio State, Indiana and Penn State, Moore admits recruiting is a little different while in the midst of a global pandemic.

“COVID has affected my recruitment a little because some schools won’t offer you until you’ve been on campus. What I am looking for is a position coach I can get along with, and a very good weight room and weight coach,” Moore said.
